ST. PETERSBURG, October 7. A thirteen-year-old girl became the victim of an accident in the Vologda region, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
«According to preliminary data, the driver of a Hyundai Sonata hit a truck that was standing on the side of the road with the emergency lights on. Three people were injured, all were hospitalized, a child (a passenger in the car) died on the spot,» the agency's interlocutor said.
The accident occurred on the Chekshino — Totma — Kotlas — Kuratovo highway. The truck driver was standing on the road with the driver of another car at the time of the accident. The victims — a 52-year-old passenger in a car and two people standing near the GAZ-31 — were taken to the Nyuksen Central District Hospital.
The driver of the Hyundai Sonata was not injured. The circumstances of the accident are being checked, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
