MOSCOW, October 6 Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Russian Federation is taking place in a friendly and businesslike atmosphere, the negotiations were meaningful and productive.
«Dear Shavkat Miromonovich, dear friends, ladies and gentlemen, the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation is certainly taking place in a friendly , but also in a business environment, which fully corresponds to the nature of the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between our countries… Very meaningful and productive negotiations were held today,” Putin said during statements following the Russian-Uzbek negotiations.
According to him, a joint statement was adopted on deepening the strategic partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan, which is aimed at “giving additional impetus to joint work in the political, trade and investment, cultural and humanitarian fields, in the field of security, including biological and information.”
