MOSCOW, October 9 A ban remains on all exports of gasoline from Russia and the supply of diesel fuel abroad by rail, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
“The ban on the export of motor gasoline and the export of diesel fuel by rail remains in place in order to continue filling the domestic market and prevent an increase in wholesale prices,” he said during a meeting of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with deputy prime ministers.
On Friday, the Russian government announced the lifting of restrictions on the export of diesel fuel to ports via pipelines for those who supply at least 50% of their production to the domestic market.
