In the Losino-Petrovsky urban district near Moscow, a passenger car collided with an electric train when the driver ran a red light at a railway crossing. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow region, as a result of this accident, two people died and one was injured.
The incident occurred at about 19:30 Moscow time near the Oseevskaya station. According to preliminary information, the driver of the car violated the rules and drove through a prohibiting traffic light while crossing a railway crossing without a barrier, resulting in a collision with an electric train. One person was hospitalized with injuries, and two died at the scene.
Currently, State Traffic Inspectorate employees are investigating all the circumstances of this case. According to TASS operational data, the condition of the person injured in the accident is assessed as extremely serious.
