MOSCOW, October 8 Explosions were heard in the city of Kherson, controlled by Kiev troops, the Public TV channel reports.
“Explosions are heard in Kherson,” says a message published on the Telegram channel of the Public.
The Kherson region became a subject of the Russian Federation following the results of a referendum held in September 2022. At the same time, the Ukrainian side does not recognize its legitimacy. Today, 75% of the territory of the Kherson region is under Russian control, and the part on the right bank of the Dnieper, including Kherson, remains under Ukraine.
