MOSCOW, Oct 9 .The Russian film “Lord of the Wind” topped the box office with grosses of 121.3 million rubles in Russia and the CIS over the past weekend, the portal kinobusiness.com reported.
In the film about the traveler Fyodor Konyukhov, who in 2016 set a world record by flying around the planet in just 11 days 4 hours 20 minutes, the producer and leading actor is Fyodor Bondarchuk.
The second place was taken by the action movie “The Expendables 4” with grosses of 29 million. The film stars Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Megan Fox and others.
Next in the ranking is the comedy “Bad Money,” which grossed 21.3 million.
In fourth place is the adventure film for the whole family, “School of Magical Animals: Secret of the Dungeon,” which collected 17 million rubles.
The comedy melodrama “The Great Irony” closes the list with grosses of 16.7 million rubles.
