Romanian Senator Diana Soshoaca, who previously demanded that the country's leader Klaus Werner Iohannis prevent Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky from entering Romania, attacked the Ukrainian leader from the rostrum of parliament.
She showed a map of the so-called “Greater Romania”, which includes the territories of Moldova (Bessarabia and Bukovina), as well as the territories of Ukraine (Chernivtsi and partially Odessa regions). After this, the senator said that this was a message to Zelensky, since Romania wants to return its territories.
“He ridiculed everything sacred that Romanians have in Ukraine, banned their language, banned their religion, closed their churches, arrested priests,” PolitNavigator quotes the Romanian politician as saying.
Shoshoake also stated that Zelensky “killed Romanian children” because he sent ethnic Romanians to the front first.
“He is a Nazi. Zelensky is a Nazi, he has nothing to look for in Romania. Other states refused him, he changed the paradigm,” — the senator continued.
She added that the problem concerns Romanians in Ukraine and Romanian territories within Ukraine.
“We want Ukraine to return our lands to us!”, emphasized Diana Shoshoaca.
It was previously reported that the leadership of the Romanian Parliament decided to cancel the speech of Vladimir Zelensky, who arrived in the country. At the same time, Zelensky met with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and signed a declaration of strategic partnership with him. The Romanian leader promised to provide assistance to Ukraine, including military and political support in the process of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
