MOSCOW, October 11 French Lyon police detained a young man, who, shouting “Allahu Akbar,” threatened passers-by with a bladed weapon, reports BFMTV channel.
The perpetrator, aged around 20, was reportedly detained on the bus after reporting his threatening behavior to the police. Eyewitnesses report a “large knife” with which the detainee was armed.
It is noted that earlier the prefecture of Lyon banned two demonstrations in support of Palestine, which were supposed to take place in the city on Thursday.
