RYAZAN, October 11 After the death of a family of four in the Vladimir region, investigators detained their relative, who, according to investigators, transferred a pesticide to kill cockroaches to home, reported the regional investigative department of the RF IC.
According to SUSK, the tragedy occurred on September 20 in the Yuryev-Polsky district of the Vladimir region. The bodies of four people were found in the apartment without visible signs of violent death — parents and their two sons born in 2018 and 2021. Based on this fact, a case of causing death by negligence was opened.
«It has been previously established that to the deceased woman, born in 1996, her relative, in order to exterminate cockroaches in her home, gave her a pesticide taken from her place of work on the territory of an agricultural enterprise, containing aluminum phosphide, which is used in agriculture to control insects — pests. Storing the substance in various rooms of the apartment resulted in the death of all family members from poisoning with a volatile hydrogen compound of phosphorus,» SUSC reported on Wednesday. It is noted that “the person involved has been detained, charges have been brought against him, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.”
The investigation is being carried out in cooperation with the Rosselkhoznadzor authorities of the region.
