The bridge on the highway between the cities of Yasinovataya-Gorlovka was destroyed,” Shevchenko wrote.
He clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the shelling.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka was more than 250 thousand people.
Yasinovataya is located approximately 25 kilometers north of Donetsk, it had the largest railway station in the former USSR.
