The Ust-Labinsk District Court of the Krasnodar Territory recovered 20 million rubles from businessman Oleg Tinkov in a claim for the protection of honor, dignity, and business reputation from businessman Oleg Tinkov. This was reported by the press service of the regional court.
In addition to Tinkov, Meta is the defendant in this lawsuit. Judge Alexander Koloyda ruled to recover 10 million rubles from Tinkov as compensation for moral damage, as well as another 10 million rubles as compensation for reputational damage. He must also pay 100 thousand rubles in legal costs.
When the decision comes into force, Tinkov must delete the information that caused Deripaska’s claims within one day. Meta should also remove this information. Within three days, Tinkov must “refute the information he has disseminated and does not correspond to reality.”
We are talking about Oleg Tinkov’s comment on Instagram: in April 2022, Tinkov wrote under his post that “Deripaska is an oligarch and a thief,” and he himself is an “honest entrepreneur.”
Oleg Deripaska graduated from high school in Ust-Labinsk, Komsomolskaya Pravda wrote. Vedomosti wrote in 2016 that Deripaska continues to pay taxes in the Krasnodar region — half of them go to the budget of Ust-Labinsk.
In 2018, the court in Ust-Labinsk upheld the claim of billionaire Oleg Deripaska against Anastasia Vashukevich (Nastya Rybka) and Alexander Kirillov (Alex Leslie), who had previously appeared in the FBK investigation.
As part of interim measures for this claim, Roskomnadzor blocked Navalny's investigation and demanded that the media remove news about him. Such demands, among others, came to Mediazona, Radio Liberty, Znak.com, NEWSru.com and Snob.
