After the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, the skyscraper at 731 Lexington Avenue displayed a blue and yellow flag on its upper floors. This image was visible for many blocks from different points of the city.
By October 12, the colors of the flag changed to Israeli ones.
The correspondent asked the building employees what the reason for this decision was. However, the doormen said they were not informed of the reasons for the flag change.
“You know America. Whatever crisis happens, it is important to support the allies,” one of them said.
A senior manager was not in the building at the time of the conversation .
