Most of our Universe is “occupied” with dark energy — this something evenly fills everything » empty space. If the Universe is expanding, then relative to its size, dark energy should become less. But no! Imagine you enlarged a bottle 10 times, and the water in it also increased 10 times, filling the space that appeared. How so?
Why is the density of dark energy the same at any point in the universe, and can it be a cosmological constant, said leading researcher at the JINR Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Anton Baushev.
