MOSCOW, Oct. 12A Ukrainian marine was sentenced to life for the execution of civilians in Mariupol, which resulted in five deaths and four more injuries, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office.

He was found guilty under points “a”, “g”, “l” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two or more persons committed by an organized group, motivated by political, ideological hatred), Part 3 of Article 30, points “a” , «g», «l» Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder of two or more persons, committed by an organized group, motivated by political, ideological hatred), Part 1 of Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cruel treatment of civilians in occupied territory ).
It was established that in March 2022, Skorina, while in a combat position in Mariupol, shot with a machine gun a married couple moving along the street on bicycles. However, despite the injuries, the victims managed to leave the shelling zone and take refuge in a safe place. It is noted that a few days later Skaryna, together with other security forces, shot with machine guns a convoy of three cars with white ribbons on the mirrors, which indicated that they belonged to civilian vehicles. As a result, four men and one woman died on the spot, two managed to escape.
As the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation added, as part of the investigation, Skorina admitted guilt and repented of his actions.
