This should be an additional incentive for business development
The Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory proposes to increase the limit of microloans for entrepreneurs. Kuban parliamentarians introduced a corresponding bill to the State Duma.
The authors of the document note that the adoption of the document will expand the opportunities of entrepreneurs in terms of attracting affordable financing. According to the current law “On microfinance activities and microfinance organizations”, the maximum size of a microloan that a legal entity or individual entrepreneur can count on should not exceed five million rubles. As for the self-employed, for example, taxi drivers, the microloan they are entitled to cannot exceed half a million rubles. Krasnodar legislators propose to increase the maximum microloan size for legal entities and entrepreneurs to seven million, and for the self-employed to one million rubles.
The developers of the bill explain the need to increase the maximum amount of loans for small and medium-sized businesses, in particular, by rising inflation in Russia in recent years. The adoption of the law, in their opinion, will create more favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship.
