The Ministry of Justice included in the register of “foreign agents” the former vice-president of Gazprombank Igor Volobuev, who joined the Kiev territorial defense, the head of the Sitting Russia Foundation Olga Romanova and the researcher of war graves Vitaly Votanovsky.
Also in The list included politician Evgeny Domozhirov, economist Vladislav Zhukovsky, journalist Sergei Kovalchenko, activist Anvar Kurmanakaev, “Khodorkovsky Live” host Elena Malakhovskaya, former editor of “Moskovsky Komsolets” Aidar Muzhdabaev, ex-coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Tambov Diana Rudakova, politician and blogger Andrei Rudoy , as well as Ilya Ponomarev’s associate Andrei Sidelnikov.
As follows from the justification of the Ministry of Justice, most of them supported Ukraine, spoke negatively about the war, and interacted “with foreign media and foreign agents.” The department also indicated that some of those included in the register today live outside of Russia.
