ST. PETERSBURG, October 14 A St. Petersburg resident, who confessed his love to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine in graffiti, was imprisoned in a pre-trial detention center for two months, reports the joint press service of the city courts.
«The Krasnogvardeisky District Court of St. Petersburg considered the request of the inquiry to select a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to Oleg Pronin, accused of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 214 (Vandalism) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 1 of Article 222 (Illegal possession of weapons) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court elected a guard until December 11, 2023,» the press service reports.
The inquiry indicates that on October 12, Pronin painted black inscriptions and a stylized drawing of a heart on Sinyavinskaya Street and Sredneokhtinsky Prospekt as a sign love and respect for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine on the facades, thereby desecrating them.
«He, no later than October 13, purchased and stored at his place of residence ammunition for TT and PPSh, M-56,» the press service added.
It is clarified that Pronin asked the court not to arrest him, said that he admits guilt and does not intend to hide.
