MOSCOW, Oct. 13 Ukraine withdrew from the agreement with the CIS on cooperation in the field of preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies of a natural and man-made nature, Taras Melnichuk, a representative of the country’s Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, said on Friday.
“Ukraine has withdrawn from the agreement on cooperation in the field of preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies of a natural and man-made nature within the CIS,” Melnichuk wrote in his Telegram channel.
He added that the agreement was signed on January 22, 1993 in Minsk.
