MOSCOW, October 15 The artist and poet Gavriil Lubnin died at the age of 54, information about this was confirmed in the group of the Garkundel art center on VKontakte.
“We have very sad news for you: a few hours ago the brilliant graphic artist and cartoonist Gavriil Lubnin passed away,” the message says.
Lubnin was born in 1969 in Leningrad. He became famous for his paintings on craft paper, which he accompanied with ironic couplets. He also collaborated with the group «Chirvontsy» as a songwriter and as an artist with the group «AuktYon».
