During the first half of 2023, the courts fined Russians 42,661,500 rubles in administrative cases of “discrediting” the army. This follows from the report of the judicial department at the Supreme Court; Mediazona drew attention to the data.
So, according to the report, in the first half of this year, 1,701 administrative cases of “discrediting” military personnel were received by the courts (Article 20.3 .3 Administrative Code). As a result of reviewing the protocols, 1,308 Russians were brought to justice: 1,302 of them were fined, and another six were given a warning.

According to Mediazona, from the beginning of the war in Ukraine until October of this year, at least 8,055 administrative cases were filed in Russian courts. cases of “discrediting” the army. Of these, 8046 protocols were received by district courts, and nine — by garrison military officers.
