MOSCOW, Oct. 18 The volume of trade between Russia and China is really impressive, Russia occupies a high place among China's trading partners, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
«The volume of trade turnover that we are talking about today is really impressive, because we set ourselves the task of achieving $200 billion in 2024. And when will we in 2019 they formulated this, I’ll tell you frankly, few people believed that this was even possible, because at that time our trade turnover was 100 billion. And now, ahead of schedule, it’s already 200,” Putin said at a press conference on results of his visit to China.
The President also noted that Russia ranks high among China’s trading partners.
“I said that Russia ranks sixth among China’s trading partners, in fact this, if we take a purely formal approach, is not so, it occupies a much higher place,” Putin added.
