BRUSSELS, 18 Oct. European Commissioner for the Internal Market Thierry Breton said that the EU has warned the largest online platforms, including the X and Meta* networks about risks associated with the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, including the possible spread of Hamas «live broadcasts of executions».
The number of victims in the Gaza Strip reached 3,478 people, and the number of Israelis killed was a thousand; several thousand Israelis and Palestinians were injured. According to him, the dissemination of false, illegal information on social networks leads to the destabilization of the democratic structures of European countries.
