WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 Humanity needs a new world order, and The United States “will be able to build it,” President Joe Biden made a similar statement at a campaign event.

"I think we have the opportunity, <…> if we are bold and confident enough, we will unite the world in a way that has never been done before. We spent 50 years in the post-war period where it worked pretty damn well, but now the steam has kind of run out. Looks like the steam has come out. We need a new, new world order,” he said.

A private reception to raise funds for the election campaign of the 80-year-old president, who is running for a second term, took place the night before, but the White House released a transcript of his speech only in Saturday.

Vladimir Putin has repeatedly criticized the “rules-based world order” promoted by the West, calling it nonsense. According to him, no one saw or wrote these rules, which makes it possible for adherents of such a colonial approach to come up with rules from case to case for their own benefit.

The Russian leader emphasized that the multipolar world order is strengthening and this is an inevitable process, since the inherently ugly neo-colonial world system ceased to exist.

At the same time, the head of state pointed out the need to create a new world order, which would be based on the principles of economic openness, justice for all, collective decisions and taking into account the interests of all states.
