MOSCOW, October 23. Larisa Dolina entered into a controversy with her subscribers on the social network. The People's Artist explained her position about Yuri Shatunov. Previously, the star doubted that he could be called a “legend.”
«
“I try to be extremely polite, delicate, truthful and sincere. And people convey my sincerity as arrogance and bitterness…” — wrote Dolina.
The artist performed the song “Forget” at the Shatunov tribute concert. But then she posted a post on Instagram*, where she shared her thoughts about the status of the leader of “Tender May”.
«“I am aware that for teenagers he was an idol, he sang about what worried them at that age, but only at that age,” Dolina wrote. “These songs cannot cause hysterics and tears in an adult because adults are already concerned about other problems and have a different worldview.»
Under the first post, the singer removed the ability to comment, but not under the second. Her subscribers were divided in their opinions. Some defended the people's artist.
““I respect you very much for your position! You alone are fighting for professionalism, knowing that you will face the hate of inadequate people. These people are endless. When we allow ourselves to openly express our sincerity, they are ready to devour us,” fans wrote in support of the singer. Dear Larisa! Try not to be offended, let go of the situation, because there are so many people, so many opinions.”
Others, on the contrary, criticized the singer even more.
“
“If you pretend to be honest, you would speak the truth from the stage into the microphone, looking into the faces of hundreds of fans, and even better, Yuri personally, when he was alive,” Shatunov’s fans were indignant. — How much arrogance! In fact, you showed disrespect to Yuri, you didn’t even call him by name. You don’t know at all what politeness and delicacy are! But arrogance and bitterness are spot on!
The concert dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Yuri Shatunov was held on October 17 in Moscow. Songs from his repertoire were performed by SHAMAN, Tatyana Bulanova, Alsou, Olga Seryabkina and others. Shatunov died on the night of June 23, 2022 due to a heart attack.
