Netanyahu promised Biden not to interfere with the supply of humanitarian aid to Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured the head of the White House, Joe Biden, that he would allow interested parties to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and promised not to block the flow. Politico reports this, citing US officials.

During the conversation, the American leader “welcomed the first two convoys of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip after the Hamas attack on October 7, which have already crossed the border and are being distributed to Palestinians in need.” The report clarifies that officials have confirmed the continuation of this critical assistance.

Earlier, on October 22, it was reported that a second convoy of humanitarian aid trucks had entered Gaza from Egypt. The Egyptians checked them before entering.

Another convoy of 20 trucks with humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip on October 21, then the Egyptian side again closed the Rafah checkpoint. The head of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, explained this by the bombing of Israel.
