MOSCOW, Oct. 24The Investigative Committee has requested a comprehensive tax audit of the accounts of blogger Elena Blinovskaya in order to find out the amount of arrears in the period from 2019 to 2022, reports a correspondent from the Zamoskvoretsky courtroom in Moscow, where the issue of a preventive measure for the person involved in the case is being considered.
«It is necessary to appoint and carry out complex tax examination,” said the investigator.
The Blinovskaya case involves unpaid taxes for 2019-2021 in the amount of over 918 million rubles. As her lawyer Natalia Salnikova reported, another tax audit for 2022 has been launched.
Blinovskaya is under house arrest. Today the court extended the preventive measure for another three months.
As Salnikova previously stated, the court arrested the blogger’s assets and the property of companies associated with her for approximately 64 billion rubles. At the time of the decision, 50 bank accounts were frozen.
At the same time, the amount of the prosecutor’s office’s claims against her is much less — 918 million rubles. To date, according to the defense, Blinovskaya, who is under house arrest, has paid an additional 55 million rubles in taxes.
According to the Investigative Committee, Blinovskaya evaded paying taxes on income from the sale of training courses and training marathons, not wanting to switch to a general taxation system and pay VAT and personal income tax. Blinovskaya laundered part of the damage, namely 43 million rubles, by paying for her husband’s car, purchasing equipment for her husband and sister’s companies, the work of a musical artist and a festive event in August 2021, the investigation believes.
The second person involved in the case was the blogger’s husband Alexey Blinovsky . A preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of a ban on certain actions, which did not allow him to use communications and the Internet, but his movements were not limited.
