BEIJING, Oct. 24 China's Parliament has appointed a new head of the country's Ministry of Finance, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanxi Province Lan Foan, China Central Television reported on Tuesday.
«Liu Kun was removed from the post of head of the Ministry of Finance, Lan Foan was appointed head of the department,» the television report said following a session of the Standing Committee National People's Congress.
The sixth session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (Parliament of the People's Republic of China) was held in Beijing on October 20-24.
