
MOSCOW, October 24 The cost of gasoline on the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange (SPIMEX) on Tuesday decreased by 2-4%, summer diesel fuel fell in price by 1%, as follows from the trading materials.
The price of AI-92 gasoline according to the territorial index of the European part of Russia on Tuesday decreased by 1.75%, to 49,953 rubles per ton, AI-95 — by 3.53%, to 54,879 rubles. Summer diesel fuel fell in price by 1.03%, to 58,630 rubles per ton.
At the same time, the cost of off-season diesel fuel at the end of Tuesday’s trading increased by 0.76%, to 58,327 rubles per ton, winter diesel fuel — by 0.8%, up to 70,693 rubles per ton.
The cost of fuel oil on Tuesday dropped by 3.29%, to 23,282 rubles per ton, the price of jet fuel increased by 1.31%, to 79,048 rubles per ton. Liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LPGs) fell in price by 1.42%, to 31,878 rubles per ton.
The Russian Cabinet of Ministers introduced a ban on the export of gasoline and diesel fuel from September 21. Later, on October 6, the government approved additional measures. Among them are a return to damper payments in full, and the lifting of the ban on the export of diesel fuel through pipelines for those who supply at least 50% to the domestic market.
A protective export duty is also being introduced for non-fuel producers for the period when the direct export ban is lifted; it will amount to 50 thousand rubles per ton; the standards for mandatory sales of AI-95 gasoline and diesel fuel on the stock exchange have been increased to 15% and 12.5% of production, respectively.
