MOSCOW, Oct 23 The Kaliningrad region is ready to receive All Russians outlawed in Latvia, there are enough vacancies in the region, there is a high demand for qualified workers, said Senator from Kaliningrad Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov.
“Kaliningrad is ready to accept all Russians declared outlaws in Latvia,” the politician said.
According to the senator, “information has emerged that more than three thousand of our compatriots may be deported from Latvia in the near future.” “Today, the region has a sufficient number of vacancies, there is a high demand for qualified workers. We are ready to support our compatriots in this difficult time, we share their desire to live and work peacefully in their home country,” Shenderyuk-Zhidkov noted.
The senator recalled that 53 thousand people have already moved to the Kaliningrad region under the program of resettlement of compatriots, and these are not only workers, but also members of their families, a significant part of them are from Latvia.
«Moreover, we see how much interest the region enjoys within the framework of the electronic visa program, and Latvian citizens are among the leaders in it. I am confident that the region will become a hospitable new home for our compatriots,» the parliamentarian concluded.
