NIZHNY NOVGOROD, October 24 Corporate income tax revenues in the Nizhny Novgorod region will increase by almost 2 billion rubles in 2023, reports the press service of the regional parliament.
The Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reviewed the draft amendments to the law on the regional budget for 2023.
«»The bill proposes to increase corporate income tax revenues by more than 1.9 billion rubles. The Nizhny Novgorod region again received additional income tax revenues. This is a good sign — the economy is working, enterprises are earning money, and the volume of profits is greater than expected. Such adjustments This is not the first time we have contributed to an increase. We are distributing funds according to our target programs. In the current amendments, serious funds will be allocated to healthcare and modernization of primary care,» the press service quotes the words of the chairman of the budget and taxes committee, Alexander Sharonov.
Also at the committee meeting, it was decided to support the draft amendments to the law “On Transport Tax”, extending the 50% transport tax benefit for Nizhny Novgorod owners of electric vehicles.
«»The document proposes to extend until December 31, 2026 the transport tax benefit for owners of cars equipped only with an electric motor. They are provided with a 50% reduction in the tax rate per horsepower. The expiration date of the benefit is currently until December 31, 2023 year inclusive,” the message says.
It is noted that in 2021, 72 owners of cars equipped only with an electric engine took advantage of the benefit (the amount of the benefit was 700 thousand rubles), in 2022 — 135 owners (the amount of the benefit was 567 thousand rubles).
““We expect that the benefit will stimulate the demand of residents for the purchase of cars equipped only with an electric engine. Their operation leads to fuel savings and reduces the negative impact on the environment,” emphasized Olga Sulima, acting Minister of Finance of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
In addition, the deputies proposed to study the possibility of providing benefits to owners of cars with a hybrid engine.
