MOSCOW, October 23 In 2023 and 2024, more than 800 million rubles will be allocated for the reconstruction and overhaul of children's theaters in several regions, according to the government's Telegram channel.
«A number of regions will receive additional funding to complete the reconstruction and overhaul of theaters for young spectators and puppet theaters. 836.5 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes, funds will be received in 2023 and 2024,» the publication notes.
In particular, more than 198 million rubles are allocated for the reconstruction of the Volgograd Puppet Theater. Thus, it will be possible to complete all work this year — ahead of schedule.
Additional funds are also intended for the regional puppet theater of the Tomsk region.
Next year, more than 630 million rubles will be allocated for the modernization of theaters for young spectators in Buryatia, the Republic of Mari El, Tyva, the Trans-Baikal Territory, as well as in the Kaluga, Orenburg, Ryazan, Samara and Saratov regions.
