MOSCOW, 26 Oct. People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina told in an interview with the «So to Say» project how the joint performance of her theater «Russian Song» with People's Artist of the USSR Sofia Rotaru fell through.
«We were supposed to sing with her «Chervonu Ruta» in Ukrainian. They didn’t let her in, although we already had a number,» the singer shared.

Babkina suggested that Rotaru would have been happy to break away, but having arrived at Russia to perform, she may lose the opportunity to return home to Ukraine.
