MOSCOW, October 25. The star of the program “Curved Mirror”, comedian Valery Ponomarenko, was urgently hospitalized, the Perm Palace of Culture named after M.I. Kalinin reports on its page on VKontakte.
«Due to the emergency hospitalization of Valery Ponomarenko, changes have occurred in the concert program: solo performances of Nikolai Bandurin will take place,” the state institution announced the upcoming concert on October 27.
The place and reasons for the artist’s hospitalization in the Palace of Culture were not reported.
The humorous duet of twin brothers Alexander and Valery Ponomarenko received wide popularity in the “Curves Mirror” program under the leadership of Evgeny Petrosyan. In 2022, brother Alexander died of cancer, since then Valery has been performing in a duet with Nikolai Bandurin.
