MOSCOW, October 24. A third world war could break out on the planet due to conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, billionaire Elon Musk said during an audio conference on the social network X, his words were quoted by The Wall Street Journal.
“»We must achieve peace in Ukraine, and I think we need to restore normal relations with Russia,” the businessman said.
The businessman noted that the military actions that Kiev is waging against Moscow do not make sense, and in combination with a war in the Middle East, they can provoke global conflict. The current situation is dangerous for the United States also because it is forming a closer alliance between Russia, Iran and China, Musk believes.
In his opinion, Washington will be broken in confrontation with such a serious alliance, since it does not have the appropriate military-industrial potential.
At the beginning of October 2022, an American entrepreneur wrote on Twitter that he doubted the possibility of Ukraine winning in the event of full-scale battles with Russia. He also offered his vision of resolving this conflict. The plan involves a “re-vote” in the Donbass “under UN supervision,” the preservation of Crimea “as a formal part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (before Khrushchev’s mistake),” guarantees of water supply to Crimea and the neutral status of Ukraine.
