KOROLEV (Moscow region), October 26 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the need to expand for citizens , business and government authorities, availability of key space services, coverage of high-quality communications throughout the country.
““It is more effective to use our rocket and space industry as a resource for the development of our economy in our regions, to create fundamentally new opportunities for citizens of the Russian Federation. Thus, «In a short time, we need to significantly expand the availability of key space services for citizens, businesses, and government bodies at all levels. I mean high-quality communications coverage throughout the entire territory of our country, as well as geoinformation products and technologies in the field of remote sensing of the Earth,» Putin said at the meeting on the development of the space industry.
Putin also noted that “such services open the way for more effective solutions to problems in the field of ecology and climate for the development of our territories and the expansion of transport and logistics corridors, including the Northern Sea Route.”< br />
