MOSCOW, Oct 26 The key long-term goal of Russia’s climate policy is achieving a balance between anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions and their absorption no later than 2060 follows from the new climate doctrine of the Russian Federation.
““The key long-term goal of climate policy is to achieve, taking into account national interests and priorities of socio-economic development, no later than 2060, a balance between anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions and their absorption,” the text of the document says.
