MOSCOW, October 26. Colombian model and actress, winner of the Miss Earth Colombia contest, Alejandra Villafañe, died at the age of 34 due to a serious cancer, El Tiempo reports.
According to the actress’s father, Villafañe died last Saturday after a long fight the disease. The model told subscribers about the treatment on social networks; according to her, she was diagnosed with three tumors in different parts of the body.
Villafañe was born in 1989 in Bogota, and in 2014 she took part in the national beauty pageant «Miss Earth Colombia» , in which she won. In November of the same year, Villafañe took part in the Miss Earth international beauty contest, in which, following the results of the competition, she reached the semi-finals.
In addition, she starred in two films and 12 television series.
