A spontaneous rally in support of Palestinians against the backdrop of Israel's operation in the Gaza Strip. According to reports in local public pages, about 200 people gathered near the government house in Cherkessk, some brought Palestinian flags.
As follows from published records, some of the protesters began to demand the eviction of Jews from the region.
"Can you help us? Evict them!' — demanded a young woman in a black headscarf, turning to a certain man, who presumably came to the place to persuade those gathered to maintain order.
"Look. There is a law…» — the man tried to explain.
"How do we evict them legally?" — another shouts in response.
"And the Gaza Strip through legal means?…" — assents the third.
Substantiating their wishes to “evict the Jews” Without regard to the law, the women began shouting that Hamas militants were allegedly only “throwing stones,” and Israel was firing rockets in response.
No arrests were reported.
