KOROLEV (Moscow region), October 26 It is necessary to radically reduce the cost of delivering satellites into orbit, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the development of the space industry.
“»Secondly, it is necessary to significantly, or rather, radically reduce the cost of delivering spacecraft into low-Earth orbit, create the necessary infrastructure specifically for mass launches of satellites, including small spacecraft, and ensure access to it for private technology companies,” Putin said.
He emphasized that this is a mandatory fundamental condition for the accelerated development of the space services market. “These issues need to be taken into account, including as part of the work to create our new missile technology,” the president added.
