MOSCOW, October 28 Actress Daria Peshkova, granddaughter of the writer Maxim Gorky, died at the age of 96, the press service of the Vakhtangov Theater reported.
“Daria Maksimovna Peshkova, Gorky’s granddaughter, who served at the Vakhtangov Theater for more than 70 years, died at the age of 97,” the press service said.
According to the theater, Peshkova was born on October 12, 1927 in Naples, graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theater School in 1949. Her entire creative life is connected with the Evgeni Vakhtangov Theater, where she played almost fifty roles.
