MOSCOW, November 2. The government will expand the program of preferential car loans to people with disabilities, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced at a government meeting.
““Now people with health limitations will also be able to take advantage of the preferential offer,” he noted.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers said that in the next three years, funds will be allocated to support Russian companies in the automotive industry and increase demand for their products about 30 billion rubles. These funds will be used to implement the current car loan program, which allows certain categories of citizens to receive a discount of up to 25 percent of the cost of the car: healthcare workers, teachers, SVO participants, as well as their relatives and friends.
«When purchasing domestic electric vehicles on credit, the discount will increase to 35 percent. That is, the state will return up to 925 thousand rubles to the buyer,» Mishustin noted.
According to him, the government expects that thanks to the measures taken, even more Russians will be able to purchase such cars. Mishustin added that this will also help improve the environmental situation.
