MOSCOW, October 31. The Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve has completed its high season — from mid-April to the end of October, it was visited by over 2.7 million visitors, the organization’s press service reported.
In 2023, there were 9.5 times more people wishing to visit Tsarskoye Selo than in the past.
The audience included citizens of China, Iran, India, European and South American countries, but the main participants in the excursions are still residents of Russia. This year there were 310 thousand more of them than in the high season of the past.
The press service notes that a competent preferential policy helped increase the flow of tourists.
This spring, for the first time, the museum allowed pensioners to visit Catherine Park once a week on Tuesdays for free. More than 23 thousand people took advantage of this right from April to October.
Also for the first time this year, the museum introduced complex tickets, with which one could enter the territory of several objects at once, including the Alexander Palace, the Ratnaja Chamber and the Arsenal Pavilion. .
