MAKEEVKA (DPR), November 1 A children's research center opened in Makeevka in the DPR with the support of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum, the correspondent reports.
«We have installed a satellite communications and television system into this center, which will allow various lectures from Moscow to be held here with scientists, inventors, and teachers to attract children on a wide range of scientific subjects. Last year the museum celebrated its 150th anniversary, and the main its task is to promote domestic science and industry,” said Dmitry Kozhanov, general director of the Polytechnic Museum.
Deputy head of the department of state support of art and folk art of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation Pavel Kartashev noted that by the end of the year it is planned to “open about 15 more children’s centers.”
