MOSCOW, November 3. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported in its Telegram- channel about reducing the delivery time of weapons and equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shortening the testing process and placing full responsibility for the risks regarding the quality of the weapons and equipment provided on the manufacturers.
«From November 1, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has significantly reduced the delivery time for equipment and weapons (domestic production — ed.) for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During martial law, the production cycle is shortened, and the testing process is also simplified,» the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said in a statement. It is reported that excessive testing of weapons not related to confirming its combat capability was cancelled, the number of all kinds of checks was reduced, and supply mechanisms were simplified. It is clarified that now it is the manufacturer who determines by what technical parameters the products will be transferred to the customer.
The ministry noted that now suppliers are required to confirm only three factors — the effectiveness of the equipment sample, its safety for personnel and operational reliability. The manufacturer also assumes full responsibility for the quality of manufactured weapons, the scope of necessary tests and all risks associated with the supply of these weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
