A Russian-appointed senator reported the death of seven people as a result of shelling of the village of Chaplinka in the Kherson region

As a result of the shelling of the Russian-occupied village of Chaplinka in the Kherson region, seven people were killed, said Senator Konstantin Basyuk, appointed by the Russian authorities.

According to the Ministry of Health of the annexed part of the Kherson region, nine people were hospitalized. According to Basyuk, the shells hit the building of the pension fund and employment center. He placed responsibility for the strike on the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the afternoon, the “head of administration” of the partially occupied Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, spoke about the shelling of Chaplinka by “six American missiles”. According to him, four missiles shot down air defense systems, and two more “hit a civilian target.”

In the afternoon, Saldo wrote about one dead woman and two victims who were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
