An administrative protocol was drawn up for the Eksmo publishing house on “propaganda of LGBT relationships and preferences” among minors (Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code). State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein was informed about this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Khinshtein said that he had previously contacted the police because of the comics “Dove Gennady” published by Eksmo by the Ukrainian artist Koro. According to the deputy, the comic “openly promotes homosexual attitudes, although it has an age rating of +12.”
“It is doubly outrageous that the author of the comics is in Ukraine and does not hide the fact that he directs royalties from books to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On his page on social networks, he has already equipped the “Gennady Dove” in Ukrainian military uniform. But «Eksmo» this doesn’t seem to bother us at all,” Khinshtein wrote in his Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that they sent copies of the appeal “for possible blocking of malicious Internet resources” and an assessment to Roskomnadzor and the Moscow department of Rosportrebnadzor activities of «Eksmo» under the administrative article on the protection of children from information harmful to their development (6.17 Code of Administrative Offenses).
