The chances of the Russian fighter are mixed martial arts (MMA) Vladimir Mineev's chances of winning a fight according to kickboxing rules with compatriot Ivan Shtyrkov are noticeably higher, but do not underestimate the power and anthropometric data of the opponent, said the president of the promotion company Kamil Gadzhiev.
The fight between Mineev and Shtyrkov will take place on November 18 in Sochi. In a previous fight according to kickboxing rules, Mineev knocked out Brazilian Rafael Carvalho in the second round on September 15 in Elista. At the end of August, Shtyrkov lost to compatriot Konstantin Erokhin in Moscow in a meeting held according to boxing rules.

I estimate his chances of winning as 65% to 35%, because we are still talking about a sport that is more understandable to him. But I wouldn’t «underestimate Ivan. In November 2022, Mineev announced that he was taking a break in connection with preparations to be sent to the SVO zone as a volunteer. The athlete previously served in military and contract service in the Airborne Forces. At the beginning of a special operation in Ukraine in Gostomel, the athlete’s younger brother Peter, who also served in the airborne forces, died. On September 12, Mineev was elected deputy of the People's Council of the DPR.
