Over the past week, according to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, 28 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (voluntarily surrendered to the Russian military.
According to the ministry, on November 1 alone, 15 Ukrainian servicemen from one of the units of the Vostok group of troops voluntarily surrendered, refusing to follow the orders of the command, so as not to die during the next “meat assault.”
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated , that as of October 27, 54 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered during the week. The prisoners belonged to various brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, such as the 54th mechanized, 56th, 57th, and 58th motorized infantry brigades, as well as the 110th and the 115th Territorial Defense Brigade.
