MOSCOW, Nov 4 Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that all residents of the new regions of Russia can be counted on.
After laying flowers at the monument to Minin and Pozharsky in honor of National Unity Day, Putin talked with young people. One of the meeting participants from the Zaporozhye region thanked the head of state for the decision to launch a special military operation and return the region “to its historical land.”
“If we didn’t believe in you, if we didn’t love you with all our souls, we would never have done this. And of course, I know that we can count on all the people who live in these territories,” — Putin said.
The participants also presented the president with a “Youth Army” badge, which serves as an eternal symbol of “brotherhood, the unity of all Youth Army members, wherever they are.” In addition, the head of state was given a “soldier’s triangle” — a letter written by children to the front.
«This is a very important thing, such moral support for people who risk their lives every day, or even hourly. This is very important,» Putin said.
