MOSCOW, November 7. Almost 80 pieces of outdated heavy equipment have been replaced in medical organizations in the Moscow region, reports the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
So, an updated X-ray room was opened in the Chernovskaya outpatient clinic of the Balashikha hospital. A modern digital X-ray machine began operating there, which was installed to replace outdated analogue equipment.
“We continue to implement a three-year program, according to which by the end of next year we plan to replace all outdated X-ray machines, mammographs and fluorographs in the Moscow region. To date, 79 units of analog heavy equipment have already been replaced worth over 1.4 billion rubles,” said the first Deputy Chairman of the regional government Svetlana Strigunkova, quoted by the press service.
As the department noted, the new X-ray machine at the Chernovskaya outpatient clinic will be used to diagnose adults and children. The device has a higher operating speed, it is also possible to visualize small structures and adjust the viewing process.
«Diagnostics are now carried out with better quality and faster. To work with the device, you no longer need to develop films. Another advantage of the new technology: thanks to the installed program, one X-ray image can now display several parts of the spine at once. In just two In 2018, six X-ray machines were updated,” the press service quotes Larisa Krekhova, head of the X-ray department of the Balashikha Hospital.
The patient is referred for X-ray diagnostics by the attending physician if he has medical indications. The study is performed free of charge under the compulsory medical insurance policy. The equipment was purchased on behalf of the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov as part of the national project «Healthcare».
